Our Story

Inklink is built on a foundation of devotion and linguistic heritage. Our journey began over two decades ago, driven by the belief that language is the heartbeat of a community. Under the guidance of Wolf Markowitz, we have evolved from a multi-language service into a specialized sanctuary where Yiddish is not just translated, but lived and breathed by experts who care.

A Generational Legacy

In 1998, Wolf Markowitz, a man renowned in the Hasidic community for his exceptional linguistic talents, founded Targem Translations. While the firm handled global languages, Wolf’s true passion was ensuring his own community’s Yiddish and Hebrew needs were met with precision. By 2015, recognizing a surging demand for authentic Yiddish communication, Wolf entrusted his daughter, Chany, to establish a specialized division. She named it Inklink, embodying the idea that we can link the world through the power of ink. Together with her husband, David Spitzer, they have poured their lives into this brand, hand-picking the finest Yiddish translators to bridge worlds with professionalism and a warm, heimish touch.

Our Mission

We believe every member of the Hasidic community deserves access to the world’s information in their mother tongue without losing the nuances of their culture. Our mission is to provide high-quality Yiddish translation services that respect the dignity and needs of our clients. By combining professional excellence with a deep understanding of our community’s soul, we ensure that every Jew feels understood and empowered.
